Het PROFIBUS Data Dubbelzijdige Aansluitsnoer is ontworpen voor betrouwbare datatransmissietoepassingen. Het snoer heeft aan de ene kant een mannelijke geknikte B-gecodeerde zwarte M12-connector en aan de andere kant een vrouwelijke geknikte B-gecodeerde zwarte M12-connector. Deze dubbelzijdige aansluitkabel is afgeschermd om interferentie te voorkomen. Het werkt op een spanning van 50 V AC / 60 V DC met een stroomsterkte van 4 A, waardoor het geschikt is voor diverse industriële toepassingen. Het snoer is gemaakt van een PUR paarse kabel en bestaat uit 2 draden met een doorsnede van 0,34 mm². Beoordeeld voor IP65, IP67, IP68 en IP69K bescherming, is de kabelsnoer duurzaam en bestand tegen ruwe omgevingsomstandigheden, inclusief blootstelling aan chemicaliën en oliën.
