De M12 Standaard Sensor/Actuator Enkelzijdige Aansluiting beschikt over een vrouwelijke, rechte, 5-polige connector met A-codering en een doorschijnende behuizing, die een bedrijfsspanning van 50 V AC/60 V DC en een bedrijfstroom van 4 A ondersteunt. Het heeft een ongeschermd ontwerp met een koppelnutbevestiging. De set bevat een oranje PVC-kabel met 5 geleiders, elk van 0,34 mm². Het is ontworpen met robuust constructiemateriaal, waaronder een CuSn-contactbasis en TPU-materiaal voor de contactdrager en gegoten behuizing, en voldoet aan brandbaarheid klasse UL 94 HB. De algehele beschermingsklasse is IP65 en IP67, wat het geschikt maakt voor veeleisende omgevingsomstandigheden. Het ondersteunt een breed scala aan omgevingstemperaturen en heeft een goede weerstand tegen olie en chemicaliën.
