De M12 Standaard Sensor/Actuator Enkelzijdig Aanelegkoord heeft een vrouwelijke, haakse, 4-polige, A-gecodeerde, doorzichtige behuizing, ontworpen voor robuuste prestaties in verschillende industriële toepassingen. Het werkt op 230 V AC/DC met een stroomsterkte van 4 A. De set bevat een PVC oranje kabel met 4 individuele draden van 0,25 mm², die betrouwbare connectiviteit en signaaloverdracht bieden. De connector is onafgeschermd en geschikt voor omgevingen waar een hoge mate van trillings- en schokbestendigheid vereist is, met een IP-classificatie van IP65 en IP67 bij correcte montage. Het product staat bekend om zijn goede chemische en oliebestendigheid, waardoor het geschikt is voor gebruik in veeleisende industriële omgevingen. Het biedt een hoge mate van isolatieweerstand (˃ 10^9 Ohm) en een contactweerstand van ≤ 10 mOhm, wat zorgt voor consistente elektrische prestaties.
